The final Parent Teacher Association meeting of our opening academic year was on 14th June. In that meeting our PTA Chair, Erin Zhurkin, highlighted the tremendous achievements of the PTA this year and my thanks go to all involved for making what has been TRULY remarkable progress. Mrs Bateson, Mrs Cannell, Mr Dunphy and I gave a retrospective of the year and a taste of what is in store next academic year as the school scales up to meet increasing demand for places. The meeting ended with a short video which we are enclosing for all in this blog.

The secondary school returned from their week-long residential trip to Mayo which proved to be a really uplifting outward bound experience for them all. Sleep was the order of the day for Saturday! The STEAM team returned from the STEAM festival in Warsaw last week in equally good spirits. Miss Adams and Mr Bateson are at MIT for training in Boston and are busy preparing for next year’s global STEAM challenges. Our international day on Sunday provided a fitting crescendo to an outstanding first year. What a cultural extravaganza it was! Hats off to Country reps, cultural performers and musical theatre contributors! The food and entertainment was an inspirational celebration of the global community in the school. Monday saw primary and secondary school sports days which were meticulously organized by Mr and Mrs Dunphy. Great spirit and fun were paramount! Oh and school reports are also on their way!

May I take this opportunity to wish everybody a most restorative summer vacation! Every member of our founding community has played a very special part in shaping the future of this continuing exciting history making adventure.
