The IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is for students aged 11 to 16. It is specially designed to encourage your child to broaden their thinking and explore world issues. NAIS Dublin is a fully accredited IB World School and received IB MYP authorisation in October 2020. We are now accepting admissions for students enrolling in the 2020/2021 academic year.
The Middle Years
The MYP places a strong focus on developing attitudes and values, in addition to skills. This concept-based curriculum explores subject-specific content through six global contexts.
In essence, the programme doesn't just offer facts and knowledge, but a deep understanding of how to learn and how to apply that learning.
Grades 6 to 8 lay the foundations for future study, honing skills in self-management, research, creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking.
In Grades 9 to 10 your child will gain more responsibility and develop in-depth research projects that allow a demonstration of understanding.
