Emma is a Dublin native who grew up not far from the NAIS campus. While undertaking a degree in History and Spanish at Trinity College Dublin, Emma spent some time teaching in a rural school near Machu Picchu in Peru. It was there that her passion for teaching began! After graduating, she moved to London, competed a PGCE in Twickenham and worked for several years in a primary school in Hounslow.

Following this, she moved to Dubai where she was Head of Year and an Infants teacher. After that, she moved further afield to Singapore where she spent four years in Tanglin Trust School as a Grade 1 teacher and Assistant Head of Year. While there, one of her most memorable experiences was spending time in Cambodia delivering teacher training at a local primary school in Siem Reap. Emma is delighted to be back in Dublin and to be part of the team at NAIS Dublin. Emma spends her free time exploring the mountains and beaches of Ireland.
