Jennifer Cottam

Jennifer Cottam

Grade 3 Teacher

Jennifer began her teaching career in Sheffield, after graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Primary Education. Two years later, she relocated to Singapore where she spent five years working at Tanglin Trust School. In her role as Head of Year, Jennifer has passionately led the transition process from Infants to Juniors in addition to developing an exciting, bespoke curriculum and providing quality pastoral care to ensure that every child flourishes.

Whilst living in Asia, Jennifer has enjoyed travelling in her spare time. In her career to date, she has volunteered in schools in Mumbai and Fiji and trained teachers in Cambodia. A highlight of her time at Tanglin has been her involvement in the outdoor education experiences for children, from camping at the Singapore Zoo to observing orangutans in their natural habitat in the Bornean jungle.

Jennifer is looking forward to teaching Grade 3 (8-9 year olds) as well as moving to Dublin to explore the beautiful country of Ireland.
