Jennifer Cottam

Jennifer Cottam

Primary Teacher

Jennifer Cottam began her teaching career in Sheffield, England after graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in Primary Education. Two years later, she relocated to Singapore where she spent five years working at Tanglin Trust School. In her role as Head of Year there, Jennifer passionately led the transition process from Infants to Juniors in addition to developing an exciting, bespoke curriculum and providing quality pastoral care to ensure that every child had the opportunity to flourish.

Whilst living in Asia, Jennifer enjoyed travelling in her spare time. In her career to date, she has volunteered in schools in Mumbai and Fiji and trained teachers in Cambodia. A highlight of her time at Tanglin was her involvement in the outdoor education experiences for children, from camping at the Singapore Zoo to observing orangutans in their natural habitat in the Bornean jungle.

Jennifer is thrilled to be teaching in the Primary as well as living in Dublin and exploring the beautiful country of Ireland.
