After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature, Jinjing came to the island of Ireland via Coleraine! As part of the Confucius institute she taught Mandarin at a primary school for two years. During that time, she taught local students Mandarin, Tai Chi, traditional Chinese dance, as well as traditional Chinese singing and opera.
Jinjing then moved to Dublin to complete her master’s degree in English Language Teaching at Trinity College Dublin. Her dissertation focused on Chinese postgraduates’ communicative English language experiences. She believes that a student-centred teaching method enables the cultivation of learners’ critical thinking skills, cultural awareness, and their love of learning.
Prior to joining NAIS Dublin, Jinjing worked in the Press Section at the Chinese Embassy in Ireland for two years.
Jinjing loves photography and art. In her free time, she enjoys exploring and capturing photos.
