Maria Madero

Maria Madero

EAL Coordinator

Maria has joined Nord Anglia International School of Dublin as a Teaching and Learning Assistant in Early Years and has most recently taken on the position of EAL Coordinator in the Primary school. She is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she earned a B.Ed in Early Years Education. Growing up in a large family, always surrounded by children, she found an early calling for guiding young kids in their learning path.

Maria has a wide experience in international schools, as she has always devoted herself to work with the little ones in the intersection of different cultures and learning philosophies. This inquisitive nature has led her to enrich her teaching acumen in several international experiences across the Americas. Maria began her career in Argentina 10 years ago in some of the most prestigious schools in the country and then moved to the US and Mexico, where she exposed herself to a highly diverse environment while deepening her acquaintance of the IB curriculum.

In her free time, Maria loves travelling the world - especially, discovering across Europe the places where her family originally comes from - playing football and exploring new painting techniques. While in Ireland, she would love to reconnect with her roots and get back to horse riding.
