Every day is an adventure of learning in Ms Thorne’s classroom as she encourages her students to explore, ask questions, reflect, and hypothesize about the world around them. She believes that children learn best when provided with a variety of experiences through which they can explore their own interests and build upon their prior knowledge and skills. Through a respectful and inspiring approach, she hopes to nurture her students’ curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

Taryn is a qualified adult and children's yoga teacher who enjoys sharing this passion with her students. She also loves the outdoors and can be found hiking, jogging and swimming during her free time. As a lifelong learner herself, Taryn is currently completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy. She is excited to share her love of learning with her students in KG4.
