Aisling McConville

Head of Visual Arts

Aisling began her teaching career in Northern Ireland before working in Jakarta, Indonesia and Lima, Peru. She has taught Art for 11 years and has eight years experience leading and managing an Art department.  

By teaching internationally, Aisling has immersed herself in the International Baccalaureate Curriculum and has experienced unparalleled cultural experiences that have enriched her professionally and personally. Her passion for the Visual Arts is embedded in her teaching; she engages her students by nourishing individuality through divergent thinking and the exploration of creative skills.

Aisling is delighted to be returning to Dublin with an ever-growing collection of art and an abundance of enriching experiences! Her two children, Eithne and Pablo, and her husband, Lawrence who is the Head of Humanities and Service Learning NAIS, will join her.
