Since she was a very young child, languages have been Carolin Haubold’s passion. Born and raised in Jena, Germany, she studied English Language and Literature with Psychology and German at Friedrich-Schiller-Universitaet, Jena, (with an exchange year at Bangor University, Wales) thus combining her love for languages and curiosity about people’s actions, behaviours, and motivations.
Carolin also holds a PGCE in Modern Foreign Languages is from Bangor University. For the past 10 years, she has been teaching English, German and EAL at three international schools in Germany (Neustadt, Dresden, and Munich) and developed a focus for teaching languages to multi-lingual and multi-cultural learners with a variety of learning needs.
She has delivered multiple presentations in this area and is currently pursuing an MA in Special Education and Inclusion. She aims to motivate her students by focusing on creativity, communication skills, and independent thinking.
