Lynn Forsyth

Special Needs/ Teaching & Learning Assistant

Lynn Forsyth joined NAIS Dublin from St. Andrews Cathedral School in Sydney, an Anglian IB school, where she worked as a Primary Special Needs Assistant during her studies in Education and Support from Open Colleges. Lynn also worked as an English Tutor in Hong Kong and a Early-Years Teaching Assistant at the renowned Australian International School in Singapore. It was here that Lynn earned a respect for a high standard of special needs education, believing that early intervention can change a child’s path and helps them develop life skills and strategies for their holistic development.

As a global citizen Lynn has lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and has travelled all over Europe, Asia and Oceania. Her philosophy is that if children are exposed to a multicultural and creative education they can reach their full potential and she is raising her family to have a global mindset. Lynn is a lifelong learner and takes a personal approach to acquiring new teaching techniques and regularly attends workshops on new learning methods and approaches.

Lynn has developed a Messy Monsters CCA for our PYP students where children are encouraged to get their hands dirty and explore new sensory materials which will help develop their fine motor skills.
