Patrice Mailfert

Originally from Verdun in France, Patrice Mailfert has taught French to Primary and Secondary level for over 15 years. He started his career in Education in the United States, teaching French immersion in pre-school. His love for languages also lead him to teach in Catalonia, Spain. Mr. Mailfert then lived 9 years in Canada where he taught in IB continuum schools, both at the PYP and MYP level. He is a true believer of the IB education and strives to inspire his students to view French, not as a school subject, but as a vibrant language and culture. 

Mr. Mailfert has a Master of Education in French as a Second Language from the University of Nancy (France). He is an avid traveller and he is thrilled to be back in Europe, particularly to be closer to his family in France.
