PBS & EISP Together

The Prague British School (PBS) and English International School Prague (EISP) will combine from September 2018, pooling the expertise of two leading Czech Republic international schools.

The merger of PBS and EISP means that students will benefit from a school that has a strong pedigree and exceptional standards.

The Prague British School joined the Nord Anglia Education family of schools in March 2017, meaning that PBS and the English International School Prague (EISP) immediately became sister schools. Both schools share values and approaches to education that have led to excellent outcomes for their students. They have also been working together to forge the best possible curriculum, facilities, and student and staff communities.

While the PBIS name is new, the school is built on more than 25 years of delivering outstanding education to the local and international communities in Prague. Michael Bardsley, Principal

PBS was founded at the British International School Prague in 1992, while EISP opened in 1994. After more than two decades as neighbours, the two schools are tapping into their shared experience and expertise. They will also draw on the resources and ethos of Nord Anglia Education, a global learning provider committed to turning students into global citizens.

Teachers and administrative staff from both PBS and EISP remain at PBIS.

PBIS Principal Michael Bardsley was the Head of Secondary Schools at PBS while the three Heads of Campus are all members of either the PBS or EISP management teams.
