Last weekend, we supported our U19 Volleyball teams as they hosted a Nord Anglia tournament at TBSW. Parents and students joined us at our volleyball fan zone (IB Learning Centre) where we had the matches streamed directly from the gym and the PTA tuck shop with yummy snacks and drinks.

We were delighted to welcome Juilliard Drama Curriculum Specialist Mr. Nick Mahmat from New York to TBSW last week to work with our Key Stage 3 students and Performing Arts team.

I can describe teaching as many things, hard work, frustrating, daunting and rewarding.

In relation to students, every school has a support system, but these systems vary greatly based on the school’s context and their individual aims.

As another school year draws to an end, we take a moment to reflect upon what we have achieved over the last three terms. Your friendly PTA Committee has had quite a busy year, especially given that we were still in various lockdown situations from time to time.

As we come to the end of a successful year at TBS, there have been many highlights for the whole school community from learning in the classroom, to sporting events, trips and special events such as International Week.

We have made it to the end of the academic year!
