He comes from the small town of Scunthorpe in the UK. Before joining Regents in 2016, Mike worked in Beijing and Taipei teaching English as an Additional Language across the whole of the primary age range. In August 2019, Mike made the move into mainstream teaching as part of the Year 6 team. He is passionate about inclusive teaching and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the classroom.
In his free time, Mike enjoys keeping fit and can often be found at the gym or on the football pitch. He is also a keen diver, managing the Regents dive club and regularly exploring the ocean depths. Mike is always willing to discuss the latest book he is reading, the TV series that has captured his imagination or how great his recent BBQ experience was!
Mike moved to Pattaya with his wife (Sarah) who teaches in the Early Years, and has two daughters, Josie and Hannah, who enjoy life at Regents.
