Your child’s stay in Florida

Students and chaperones will be staying at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Suites – Waterpark, a vibrant, retro-themed hotel about a 20-minute drive from Windermere Preparatory School.

Benefits for Holiday Inn Resort guests include complimentary shuttle buses to EPCOT and the Transportation and Ticket Center.

Amenities at the resort include:

• Complimentary Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas
• Lagoon Pool and Waterpark – sparkling pool, water slides, and poolside activities
• Arcade – zero-entry pool with a sand beach and a lazy river with waterfalls
• Mini golf course and basketball courts
• Multiple dining options, from grab-and-go to full-service restaurants

Students and chaperones will check in on Monday, April 27, and depart on Friday, May 1. Students will have their own bed in a shared family suite with one to three other students. Family suites include a queen bed, a bunk bed, a sofa bed, an in-room safe, mini refrigerator, hair dryer, and a separate bath and vanity area.

Please note: Windermere Preparatory students will not stay at the resort.

Getting around

All travel to the hotel, school, and evening activities will be arranged by Nord Anglia Education. Out-of-state and international students will fly to Orlando, while South Florida students will travel by bus.

Prearranged buses will transport students to Windermere Preparatory School, the hotel, and all evening activities.

Chaperones

Your child’s safety is our highest priority. Students will be assigned a chaperone to ensure supervision throughout the entire trip. Each chaperone will oversee ten students and will be appointed by the Athletic Director of each school. Only school staff may chaperone.
