Itinerary
The Performing Arts Festival is an interactive program that unites students from Nord Anglia Education schools across The Americas. Students will build friendships and develop their artistic skills through workshops and collaborative projects while enjoying some of Orlando’s most popular attractions.

Day 1: Arrival & Islands of Adventure Kickoff
Students will arrive in Orlando throughout the day and launch their festival experience with an exhilarating visit to Universal’s Islands of Adventure. This world-renowned theme park is packed with thrilling rides and immersive lands—and offers a behind-the-scenes look at how performance, storytelling, and design come together to create unforgettable experiences.
As students explore Marvel Super Hero Island, Jurassic Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind character development, set design, and soundscapes—all while enjoying high-speed coasters and interactive attractions that bring these stories to life.
Day 2: Creative Workshops & Evening Performance
Students will dive into the first day of Performing Arts workshops at Windermere Preparatory School, led by expert guest artists and Nord Anglia Performing Arts Leads. These hands-on sessions are designed to nurture creativity, build confidence, and strengthen collaboration and performance skills across disciplines such as dance, vocals, theater, and instrumental music.
After dinner on campus, students will attend a professional performance selected to reflect the spirit of the festival—offering a chance to observe and reflect on professional-level artistry in action.
Day 3: Imagination Unleashed at Epic Universe
Today, students will explore the brand-new Universal’s Epic Universe, where cutting-edge attractions and immersive storytelling create a world of wonder. As they journey through themed lands like Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, and How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, students will experience firsthand how music, movement, voice, and visual design are used to evoke emotion and build narrative.
Between thrilling roller coasters and interactive environments, they’ll discover how the performing arts are woven into every element of the park’s design—making this a day of both adrenaline and artistic inspiration.

Day 4: Final Workshops & Universal Studios Spotlight
On the final day of the festival, students will participate in inspiring Performing Arts workshops at Universal Studios Florida, led by professionals through the Universal STARS Performance Program. These sessions are designed to elevate students’ skills in creativity, collaboration, and stage presence—all within the dynamic setting of a working theme park.
After the workshops, students will explore Universal Studios Florida, where the magic of performance is woven into every corner of the park. Whether watching Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley, enjoying the rhythm of the Beat Builders, or experiencing the action-packed Bourne Stuntacular, students will see how music, movement, and storytelling come to life in real-world entertainment. They’ll also enjoy rides like Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, Revenge of the Mummy, and Transformers: The Ride 3D—making this a day of both artistic inspiration and unforgettable fun.
Day 5: Farewell & Departure
After an incredible week of creativity, connection, and discovery, students and chaperones will depart Orlando. Transportation to the airport will be provided via pre-arranged coach or bus, scheduled according to each school’s flight time. As they head home, students will carry with them not only memories of thrilling adventures and new friendships, but also the confidence and inspiration gained from a week immersed in the performing arts.
