Robert graduated in 1991 and then worked in the computing industry for the next 25 years, performing a variety of roles in Technical Support, Consultancy, Service Delivery, IT Governance and Project Management. During his career, Robert worked for two UK universities, The British Council, an Identity Management specialist in the UK and IBM. In 2011, Robert’s family decided to move to South East Asia, where he worked as the ICT Manager with BIS Jakarta for three years before moving to Malaysia and a similar role with The Alice Smith School. Whilst in Malaysia, Robert decided to re-train as a Computer Science teacher and obtained his PGCEI whilst working for Epsom College in Malaysia. He has spent the last three years as a Computer Science teacher at The British School Warsaw.
Robert is an amateur triathlete and keen traveller; he enjoys reading and cooking but not necessarily at the same time. He joins BIS Hanoi with his wife Joe, twin daughters Kodie and Kacey, who are all excited to be back in SE Asia once more.
