- Parents can view the daily timetable on Moodle. The school day starts at 8am with an email detailing the day, links to that day’s learning on Moodle, further information and notices.
- Parents and pupils are signposted to the ‘live lessons’ where pupils will attend a call with their teacher. Live lessons are also signposted in the Teams Calendar.
FAQ and Key:
What is a live lesson?
Your child’s teachers use the platform best suited to the lesson to connect, introduce concepts, clarify, collaborate, assess and provide feedback to the children. Teacher, parent and pupil expectations have been shared in our protocols.
What is extra connected time?
Your child will have one guided reading session a week in a small group with the teacher. ‘Catch up’ time is when the teacher is available for pupils who need clarification or extra support. If your child has been identified as being in need of extra small group support, they will receive extra connected time with a teaching assistant in the area of their need.
What if my child cannot complete the whole week?
If you need to prioritize the lessons we suggest your child completes all live lessons and class work suggested by your teacher.
