Neasa Ní Ghallchóir obtained an honours Bachelor of Education in Science, Biology and Home Economics from the National University of Ireland, Galway.
She has spent seven years teaching higher-level Science and Biology at one of Ireland’s top five league schools. During that time, she worked with the State Examinations Commission of Ireland, operating both as a practical examiner and correcting higher-level state written examinations. She also worked as a consultant on the publication of a textbook for the National Junior Cycle program. Neasa has spent three years as a school tour co-ordinator and two years as head of the Science Department in her school in Dublin.
Neasa is fluent in both Irish and English and has a keen interest in Content and Language Integrated Learning. Neasa also loves to travel and spends her weekends hiking or pursuing other outdoor pursuits.
