As a South African with a Spanish wife (also a teacher at Regents) and two children, one of whom was born in the UK and the other here in Pattaya, Alastair feels quite representative of our school’s international outlook!
He will be starting his fourth year at Regents, after three years at another Nord Anglia school, The British International School of Boston. This year he will be relocating to the ICT Department, having previously been working as a language specialist, predominantly with English language learners.
Alastair is very excited with this development, as he has a degree in Design and Innovation and his interests lie in the fields of robotics and technology. In his previous school Alastair was the coach of a successful competitive robotics team and he looks forward to being able to apply his experience in working with our students to develop an interest and understanding of the technology that shapes all of our lives.
With his whole family in the school, he obviously feels a strong personal commitment to both Regents and the beautiful country of Thailand, which they are lucky enough to call home.
