Dean has a Sports Science degree from Manchester University.

Before becoming a House Parent, he was Director of Sport in schools in Bangkok and Warsaw. In his previous career, he was a professional football coach for 20 years, after which he taught PE in England. Dean loves Thailand and has lived here for eight years.
