Antarctic Explorer Inspiring Visit

28 十一月 2013

Henry Evans, a 23 year old marine biologist who graduated from Plymouth University in the UK in 2012 and who recently completed the 2 man International Scott Centenary Expedition to the South Pole will visit the school on Monday 2 December to talk with the students.

The expedition to celebrate the centenary of Captains Scott’s Terra Nova expedition arrived at the Pole on the 5 January 2013. A life-changing experience for Henry, who now continues his research work alongside sharing his experience by conducting talks and workshops in schools, businesses and local groups worldwide.

Henry was awarded a scholarship for outstanding achievement and now acts as global ambassador for the University and also published a book about his expedition (available on Amazon!).

Henry will talk with students from Infants, Juniors, Middle and Upper Schools.
