Family Fun Fair at Shanghai Centre

Sunday, April 13, 2014 10AM to 4PM Shanghai Centre Family Fun Fair

The second annual edition of Shanghai Centre’s signature event for families across the city with a focus on the healthy & happy lifestyle needs of Shanghai’s families.

Specifically – encouraging Activity, championing Health and facilitating Fun.

1. Family Fun Games for kids and parents

2. Child & Mummy related vendors that encourage active & fun lifestyle

3. Healthy living choices including healthcare services, food & beverage providers, practitioners, eclectic food options and preventive care facilities

4. Activity options ranging from fun education to fitness & handicraft options for children

Shanghai Centre will be transformed into a Family Fair with ample activities for the entire family. This Fair will use large, open spaces at Shanghai Centre.

  • Farmer’s Market: Ground floor Exhibition Plaza (area facing Nanjing Road and the area above City Shop) (outside). Fabulous Farmer’s Market filled with healthy food & beverage vendors including the USA Agricultural Trade Office’s associations representing cranberries, pistachios and other foods aside Shanghai’s healthy F&B venues.
  • On Stage: International school student bands from BISS and others are performing outside on stage in the Farmer’s Market.
  • Playground & Cardboard Shanghai II : Level 4 Atrium (inside). A Playground for kids from 3 – 12 years old with a Cardboard Shanghai Art competition ( ), baby & toddler area by Little Gym, soccer skill training by Active Kidz Shanghai, skate-boarding workshops, dancing & yoga lessons on stage, lego-land building, bouncy castles, Zumba dance performance.

[Cardboard Shanghai is a town built by pre-made buildings from participants in the Cardboard Shanghai Award Competition and Awesome Kid's Club. The town with buildings, roads and streets is not only for exhibition but also for interactive play during the day. Families are encouraged to dig into the pile of materials and tools, anytime during the day and build their version of a Shanghai landmark to add to the Cardboard City.]

  • Laser Tag: Level 4 Theater (inside).  The performance Theater will be transformed into a big Laser-Tag area for parents and kids.
