On Tuesday 25th October Year 3 went to the Maglev Museum as part of our topic of ‘Inventions that changed the world’. We rode the school bus to the museum. We were all very excited. When we got there we had the whole museum to ourselves so we explored with no interruptions. It was great! We had a booklet with lots of questions and we had to find the answers, this was fun, although some questions were difficult and we worked with our friends. We learnt many new facts, such as, that the length of the track is 30km and it opened in 2000. Inside the museum there was a computer game to fix the Maglev, we were very good at this. They had a cycle bike to see if you could cycle faster than the Maglev, no one beat it!
After a busy morning, we had lunch in the park and played with our friends in the sunshine. Then it was time for the best part of the day, it was time to ride the Maglev train. It was amazing, the train’s speed reached 302km! We then arrived at the airport where we completed the last few questions of our booklet. Year 3 had a great day out and recommend everyone to go!
