Information and Reminders

We would like to wish all our families a lovely April Holiday. When we return to school on Monday 10th April, we will change to our summer uniform. We will send all spare clothes home this week and when we return, kindly send in a new set which is weather appropriate for the summer term.

Recycling and reusing old CDs or DVDs – we would greatly appreciate any damaged CDs or DVDs that you are no longer able to use. We will need these for an art project.

We have a number of parent workshops scheduled for the summer term. You can find out more about these in your child’s Term 2 Report, which will come home today.

Overview of next week’s learning

In our first week back of the summer term we will be reading the story Owl Babies by Martin Waddell. This will be our starting point to talk about being brave when saying good bye to our carers and to help understand that it is for a short period; this is also to help our children in settling back into school life. The story will also be our focus for a variety of art and craft activities. As it is spring, in our continuous provision we will set up ‘at the bottom of the garden’ in our small world area with soil and pretend insects.
