Principal's Message - 14th April

As we approach this weekend, the sun is shining and we are truly embracing the summer term ahead!

At the end of the last term, you will have received your child’s report and you will have seen my newsletter outlining some of the exciting things happening in school next year. Please do make sure you take the time to look at this and to attend some of the workshops, and events taking place. The workshops start this following week with our Early Years Workshops on Tuesday and Thursday taking place alongside ARE evenings. I also hope to see many of our parents at the Community Curry and Quiz night on Saturday 22nd April.

Additionally, in the reports at the end of the term, I detailed some of the exciting things planned for next year. I do hope you can come along to our various opportunities to meet both myself and my two Heads of School for next year. Mr. Andrew Joy is our newly-appointed Head of Secondary, and Mr. Barrie Scrymgeour, who you all know as Primary Deputy Head, will replace Mrs Passante when she relocates to Singapore to join her husband at the end of the year.

This term will also see the first of our students heading off to MIT, followed by some of our academic team for professional development training. Throughout this term, we will be highlighting the fantastic opportunities our school has in collaborating with MIT. Already our school has a strong foothold in the fields of STEAM subjects, as many of our graduates head into this field of study. By working with an establishment like MIT, we will open students' minds even further, and create many unique opportunities.

So enjoy the sunshine this weekend, and prepare for what is going to be a huge term ahead.
