Kelly is a passionate educator who has been teaching for 19 years in Australia, England and Asia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education obtained from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. Kelly has experienced teaching across all year levels in the primary sector, as well as being a specialist art teacher. She has enjoyed leading teams in a variety of diverse roles; Year Leader, Key Stage Leader and Curriculum Leader. Kelly has a passion for the creative arts, digital technology and design which is embedded in her teaching practice. Kelly promotes a global learning environment where students are challenged to think beyond the classroom, whilst taking advantage of learning opportunities within their learning environment. This is not the first time Kelly will be joining the Nord Anglia Education family, she taught at the Puxi campus Shanghai, the Sanlitun campus Beijing, the Lam Tin campus Hong Kong and the Ho Chi Minh Campus Vietnam.

For the past 3 years Kelly has been living in Melbourne working in both state schools and independent schools, but felt she wanted to continue her career internationally. She has a passion for travelling the world meeting new people, experiencing new places, cuisines and activities. Kelly has travelled to over 50 countries and plan to add many more to that list. Being an avid amateur photographer, she loves to capture a moment on film, documenting her travels and experiences.

Kelly enjoys keeping fit through pilates, boxing, muay thai and cross fit. In her down time she enjoys spending time with close friends and family, eating out or cooking a meal at home. Kelly often volunteers with charities in her local area, working with children with learning difficulties. She is currently interested in podcasts and documentaries that explore humanity, global issues and travel experiences. Kelly can’t wait to return to Shanghai, it’s such a vibrant modern city with so much to offer. She looks forward to continuing her journey with the Nord Anglia family and being part of a rewarding education community.
