Chloe graduated from the University of Derby with a BA degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2015. Whilst at university, she undertook a study abroad year in Belgium, teaching in an international school in Year One. Chloe also moved to the USA on two occasions during the summer months to support a children’s summer sports camp, taking on various roles such as teaching swimming and sailing. Her time in America allowed her to work with children of all ages and from a variety of different backgrounds. In 2016, Chloe qualified as a teacher specialising in EYFS at Sheffield Hallam University. Starting her career, teaching a Reception class in Derby. Chloe then decided to move to Dubai, UAE where she taught Reception for two years. These experiences have given her a solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum and how to effectively support children with English as an additional language.
Chloe is a passionate and dedicated teacher who always sets high expectations for her children, so they are able to reach their true potential and achieve their ambitions. She focuses on creating a nurturing environment in which the children are challenged to take risks, explore their curiosities and as a result become independent learners.
Chloe likes outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. Recently she has also found an interest in skiing and is hoping to develop her skills whilst in China. Chloe loves an adventure and will travel at the first opportunity. She is really looking forward to travelling around China and the surrounding areas, whilst learning Mandarin.
