Stephanie Hudson

Stephanie graduated with a first class degree in Mathematics and French at Birmingham University, UK in 2007. She then went on to work in the financial sector as an Actuary at Deloitte for 2 years but decided she would have more job satisfaction becoming a teacher. She gained her PGCE at Kings College London, UK in 2011 and got my first maths teaching post in Dagenham, UK where she taught for two years before moving to Mexico City to teach at the Edron Academy for 5 years, where she was also second in department.

She is a strong classroom practitioner in that she has strong relationships with her students building up an atmosphere of openness and trust. She decided to come to BISS Puxi because it has an outstanding reputation for academic excellence.

She is motivated by continually learning and acquiring knowledge and has recently completed an Oxford University Online course on Early Human Anthropology. She can speak French and Spanish and is looking forward to studying Mandarin although she is expecting to struggle! Other hobbies include swimming, dancing salsa and cooking.
