After gaining his Bachelor's and then Master’s Degree in Engineering at the University of Exeter, UK, Alexander worked as a Systems Analyst, before taking his PGCE in Physics at the University of Hull in 2004. Since then, he has been Head of Physics at the prestigious Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur and also at schools in Brentwood and Nottingham, UK, taking a significant number of students successfully to places at Oxbridge.
Alexander believes that for pupils to understand and enjoy Science lessons, they must have a teacher who has enthusiasm for their subject and who can make Science relevant to the world around them. Alexander ensures that his lessons are active and challenging, employing all the advantages that Science has to wow and amaze students.
Outside of school, Alexander enjoys travelling and history (especially exploring old ruins and buildings), hiking through the countryside and playing games.
