Nathaniel has lived in China for over seven years and was previously the Head of Computing at The British School of Beijing. His current project at BISS is to create a lunch time STEAM programme that involves 3D pens, Virtual Reality, drones, sewing, robotics and Arduino hardware, as well as supervised use of laser cutters, 3D printers, drills, saws and hammers. This fabrication and creation of objects by hand and using machines is something that all students should experience. In the future, Nathaniel is hoping to introduce a CNC machine to the STEAM room, as well as, Virtual Reality into the classroom.
Nathaniel is married to Sheree who is a teacher in Early Years, and together they have two children. Nathaniel enjoys travelling and learning Chinese, and in his free time, he likes to play European board games and write software using the latest technology. He is currently trying to finish Beat Saber by completing all levels on Expert+ and he is already over halfway there.
