Alongside her work, she began a 2-year programme to become a Quality Management Auditor and eventually worked as COO for Pfalzwerke AG. When Claudia's children started school and whilst living in other cities around the world including New York, Chicago, Brussels and Shanghai, she developed her passion for languages and teaching. She spent eight years lecturing at the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, having taught Mathematics there. Claudia is inspired by awakening a life-long love for different languages and motivated by watching her students progress, grow in confidence and build trusting relationships. She likes to consider her classroom a place where her students learn, improve and thrive to do their best.
Outside of school, Claudia enjoys singing in an acapella group, but her life revolves around her loved ones; playing tennis is a passion of the whole family as well as playing music together with a range of different instruments. The worldwide web makes it possible to keep up the daily sense of togetherness with their daughter who graduated from BISS in 2018 and who studies medicine at Imperial College in London. During quiet moments, Claudia continues to read up on the topic of artificial intelligence, especially deductive reasoning, the perfect combination of algebra and language.
