Queenie has a life-long passion for Music and has enjoyed many years performing as soloist, first and second violinist in quartets and orchestras. She started playing the violin at the age of six and studied Music at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music with violin performance as her main focus.
In 2015, Queenie went on to complete her PGCEi at the University of Sunderland. Following this, she worked as Music teacher at the British School of Guangzhou before coming to BISS in 2019. She constantly challenges herself and draws on the latest developments in Music education to enable her students to achieve their highest level of musical success whilst allowing them to be creative and confident in Music learning. Nord Anglia Education’s collaboration with the Juilliard School has brought great benefits to her approach to Music teaching as well as other professional development Music courses she has attended over the years.
Queenie finds it very exciting to have opportunities to perform now and then in her free time, in quartets, Irish band etc. She also enjoys doing sports activities such as boxing, CrossFit, snowboarding as well as hiking and travelling around the world.
