50 teachers from Nord Anglia schools around the world have been chosen to take part in the King’s College London Executive Masters in International Education. This is an innovative, part-time programme designed specifically for teachers working in international schools worldwide and is exclusive to people working in Nord Anglia Education.
“As you know we are as ambitious for our people as we are for our students. We are committed to supporting our teachers’ professional development and career aspirations because this will ensure that our students learn from the best. This fantastic opportunity is exclusively available to those working in our schools. We hope it will build on their experience, develop their leadership skills and prepare them for unique opportunities while working in a leading education environment,” said Andrew Fitzmaurice, CEO of Nord Anglia Education.
Learn from the best
As a Nord Anglia Education school, our teachers have the opportunity to collaborate with world-leading organisations to offer unique opportunities to our teachers and students. We collaborate with world leading educators, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The Juilliard School, to provide our teachers and students with resources that are in the forefront of educational thinking.
The Executive Masters in International Education, developed by King's College London in association with Nord Anglia Education, is a two year, part-time programme that starts this month. The programme, which is fully funded by Nord Anglia Education, will focus on developing participants' understanding of effective school leadership in an international education environment.
Taught through online and face-to-face sessions, including residential elements, the programme also features a research project through which participants will address a current education issue in their own, or another, school. Successful completion of the programme will result in the award of an Executive Masters in International Education from King's College London.
King's College London is one of the top 20 universities in the world and among the oldest in England. King's has more than 26,500 students (of whom nearly 10,400 are graduate students) from some 150 countries worldwide, and nearly 6,900 staff.
