Language Portrayals
During the first 2 weeks back to school, starting a new academic year, we wanted to hear our students' voices and learn about their perspectives with regards to language learning. We used the Language Portrayals because each person has a particular connection to the language(s) they know along with their lives. What would that look like to our pupils? Is there a preference for any language? Which one do they prefer talking about? Or writing? Or listening to music?

Students at The British College of Brazil celebrate success with IGCSE results
BCB’s students achieved incredible results at the IGCSE's this year. These results follow this year’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme results, where BCB’s achieved a pass rate of 100% with an average score of 34, higher than the IB global average of 33.02 points globally.

Amigos do Bem/BCB food drive a success and we are looking forward to supporting them again next year!
We are happy to share with our community the "Thank you letter" received from  Amigos do Bem, after receiving the donation of more them 300 Kg of food that will be donated to 75.000 people as a result of the campaign led by our Year 12 students and PSHE classes activities and our community donations during BCB's food drive's campaign held in the past few weeks.

Winter Building Works in Secondary School!
BCB is hard at work over this winter period to improve facilities in The Secondary School. With the pandemic making things a little harder than usual there has been progress in the building of a second science laboratory that will also be a Makerlab where STEAM activities will take place making use of Nord Anglia´s exclusive partnership with Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
