This semester, the British College of Brazil has started a new partnership with the SPAC (So Paulo Athletics Club). SPAC is considered the oldest club in Sao Paulo with great tradition in Rugby, Football and Cricket. One of its most famous members was Charles Miller, the person responsible for bringing us from England, a new sport called Football.l In April 1895 Miller organised at SPAC, the first official football game in Brazil. Secondary students will be using their facilities during some of our double PE lessons and will include activities such as football, cricket, rounders and athletics. We will also host our Sports Day events for years 3 to 9 there. This is a great achievement for our school as it will allow our students to develop their skill even further as SPAC Santo Amaro will be an extension of our school and offers high quality facilities.
