Well done team Shrek! After months of hard work, 50 secondary students and a team of backstage supporters & musicians, performed for full audiences on both nights of the production run.
For some of the cast it was their first ever performance in BCB’s secondary school and they all did a fabulous job. Our students sang, danced and acted their hearts out to tell the well known tale of Shrek. It was not an easy rehearsal process, trying to coordinate 50 students as well as manage the production of the dragon, but staff and students pulled together and produced an awesome show.
As well as commitment shown by all of the students, the show would not have been possible without the many staff members who became involved and of course our parent community who rallied round to produce costumes, paint the set and generally help with everything. We hope you enjoyed the show, and the performers loved being of it. We have more performing arts events between now and the end of the year so we hope to see you again soon!
Embarking on a new academic journey can be both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, especially when starting at a new international school. Here at BCB, we understand the mix of emotions that new students might be experiencing, from excitement to anxiety. In this blog post, we'll explore 5 tips that can help create an environment that's welcoming, safe, and conducive to the growth and success we wish upon all our students.
