The week started with our welcome back assembly. We spoke about the importance of being ambitious and having that crucial growth mindset which enables us all, as a community of learners, to grow.
At this assembly, Ms. Baldwin and Ms Boon spoke about the school play with the theme of ´journeys´ and we have had a week full of auditions for this exciting ECA!
On Tuesday we had our first ever IGCSE results at The British College of Brazil and we are delighted with what we achieved as a community of learners:
We have also been busy welcoming parents to the new year with our year 12 information evening on Tuesday and year 10 on Thursday. Here we introduced the programs of study including the new IBDP for year 12´s. We also emphasized our approach to looking after the well being of our pupils which is our #1 priority as a Nord Anglia Education School.
I would like to end by once again congratulating the BCB community on the fantastic IGCSE results which really is a whole school team effort.
The week has been full of smiles and positive energy and I want to thank the community for the genuinely warm welcome I have received.
