Manchester Thunder are the current Vitality Super League UK champions and are setting up a youth netball academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in January 2023. The academy will be open to girls of all abilities, aged between 3 to 19 years old and will offer programmes aimed at developing skills through weekly training sessions, coaching support and games, in addition to holiday camps, competitive matches, regional tournaments, and overseas tours. The programmes will be facilitated by highly qualified coaches from Manchester Thunder’s pathway programme in the UK, who all hold relevant safeguarding certificates and a wealth of experience in playing and coaching.
Sessions with Years 5 to 9 continue Wednesday next week.
