Celebrating Arabic Language Week

Every year, BIS Abu Dhabi proudly celebrates Arabic Language Week. This week, our Primary and Secondary students came together to embrace the Arabic language with joy, creativity, and a strong sense of cultural pride.

 In the Primary School, our Arabic A and B students explored the Arabic language through a vibrant range of activities, from solving riddles and enjoying the photo booth, to gathering around the beloved Hakawati corner for captivating storytelling. Students also had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Arabic Book Fair, where they discovered a rich world of Arabic literature and culture. Our FS1 and FS2 children delighted in face painting, while a live violinist set a magical atmosphere with authentic Arabic melodies.

The crowd was truly moved by the beautiful performances of Years 3, 4, and 6 students, who sang with joy, confidence, and heart. The day was rounded off with a warm gesture of Arabic hospitality, as staff enjoyed delicious traditional drinks.

In the Secondary School, Year 7 Arabic B students impressed with heartfelt and imaginative speeches about their dream homes of the future, while Year 8 Arabic B students took everyone on A Journey of Words… Around the World, a creative and inspiring showcase celebrating the traditions, food, landmarks, and cultures that make our school community so beautifully diverse. Secondary Arabic A students phases also excelled in preparing and presenting a wide range of interactive corners, including language competitions, famous flags and countries, poets from around the world, and many other creative activities.

It was a week full of energy, talent, and a deep love for the Arabic language. We are so proud of every student who made it truly unforgettable. Shukran — شكراً

الاحتفالبأسبوعاللغةالعربية

في كل عام، تفخر مدرسة BIS أبوظبي بالاحتفال بأسبوع اللغة العربية. وخلال هذا الأسبوع، يجتمع طلاب المرحلتين الابتدائية والثانوية للاحتفاء باللغة العربية بروح من الفرح والإبداع، وتعزيز الشعور العميق بالفخر بالهوية والثقافة العربية.

احتفل طلبتنا، صغارًا وكبارًا، بأسبوع اللّغة العربيّة خلال الاحتفال الذي أُقيم في القاعة الرئيسيّة يوم الثّلاثاء، من خلال أنشطة وأركان تفاعليّة متنوّعة جسّدت جمال لغتنا العربيّة وثقافتها الأصيلة. وقد تألّق الطّلبة في أداء الأغاني العربيّة الجميلة، وقيادة الأركان والمحطّات المميّزة ف. وتنوّعت الفعاليّات في المرحلة الابتدائية ( العربية أ)بين الأركان الثقافيّة، والمسابقات، والحكايات العربيّة، وتجارب تعليميّة ممتعة للصّغار، إلى جانب أركان تصوير وتعلّم تفاعليّة قادها طلبة العربية أ في كلتا المرحلتين الابتدائيّة والثّانويَّة بحماسٍ وإبداعٍ،  ممّا أضفى أجواءً مليئةً بالفرح والاعتزاز باللّغة العربيّة. بالإضافةِ إلى أنشطة صفّيّة على مَدارِ الأسبوع حيث جسّدوا فيها جمال اللّغة العربيّة وروعتها.

في المرحلة الثانوية  قاد طلاب العربية أ   أركان متنوعة شملت المسابقات اللغوية، وأعلام ودول وشعراء من حول العالم، وغيرها الكثير من الفعاليات الإبداعية التي أظهرت مواهب الطلاب وروح التعاون بينهم، وجعلت من هذا الأسبوع تجربة تعليمية ممتعة لا تُنسى بالإضافة لاستمتاع طلبتنا بالأجواء الفنّيّة الرّاقية والمقطوعات العربيّة الأصيلة التي قدّمها عازف آلة الكمنجة الموسيقار ناصر الكندي، الّذي حضر خصّيصًا من سلطنة عُمان؛ ليمنح طلبة بيساد تجربة فنّيّة عربيّة أصيلة تبقى عالقة في ذاكرتهم.

لقد عاش طلبتنا تجارب شيّقة ومؤثّرة ستبقى راسخة في ذاكرتهم، وهذا ما نعتزُّ به نحن.. وَتَعْتَزُّ بِهِ لُغَةُ "الضّــاد".
