It was a very cosmic start to the week on Monday as alien visitors from distant exoplanets arrived and launched a very exciting MIT challenge.

Dr. Sarah Seager, professor of astrophysics at MIT, has invited us to join her hunt for the next Earth.

We are asking our students to think, out of all of the known exoplanets...

  • Which is the most likely to support life and why?
  • What kind of life might be supported on that planet?
  • What might that life look like?

As explained by our alien friends on Monday, students are challenged to design an alien life form that may exist on a known exoplanet.
We can't wait to see what they come up with!
