It has been an extremely productive and positive week at British International School Hanoi. As I reported last week, we have been undertaking our CIS/WASC accreditation visit.
Today (Monday) Year 12 arrived safely in Mai Chau at lunchtime. We are looking forward to our week of service work for the CAS element of the IB course. This afternoon consisted of a beautiful bicycle ride through lush rice paddy fields, followed by building and then racing bamboo rafts on a small lake.
As I am sure you are aware British International School Hanoi has been a member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia (FOBISIA) since October 2015. We are continuing the transition from ICT to Computer Science and have introduced IGCSE Computer Science at British International School Hanoi this year. This is a very different course to ICT, instead focusing on the principles of computing and problem solving through algorithmic design.
