Update from the U11 Nord Anglia South East Asia Games 2019

10 teams, 06 countries and over 230 children and coaches with a love of sport joined in the dynamic U11 Nord Anglia South East Asia Games 2019 hosted by BVIS HCMC over the weekend of 7^th and 8^th December 2019! Congrats to BIS Hanoi team for their efforts - you have made us very proud!

Day 1:

Saturday was the first day of competition at the Nord Anglia Education Games. The boys played basketball, competing against some of the strongest teams in the tournament. They demonstrated determination to come back from defeat to win their final game. The girls took to the T-Ball field. Improving in every game to make it to the 3rd and 4th play off game. The students met up at BVIS HCMC for dinner at the end of the day where they enjoyed doing a team quiz.

Day 2:

On Sunday, the girls worked extremely hard at basketball  and produced some of their best performances. They won one match, came fourth in their group and were commented on by other teams as being fantastic opponents who they would love to play with again.

The boys’ played some strong teams in teeball and although they did not win a game, they learnt a lot and progressed from game to game.

We all had a fantastic weekend which ended with a presentation and disco.

Sun Woo 6I and Jun Woo 5I were awarded with outstanding participation awards for their hardwork, leadership and determination skills all weekend.
