EYC Winter Concert 2020

2020121
EYC Winter Concert 2020 The children had a fantastic time preparing for their Christmas production through learning their lines, practicing their songs and learning the different actions.

The youngest children in BIS had a merry time performing ‘Santa, Santa, What Do You See?’ in front of their families. The F1 Reindeers melted the hearts of everyone as they jingled and jangled to ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Reindeer Pokey’. F2B Elves and Santas enjoyed singing and dancing ‘Merry Twistmas’ and ‘Up on the House Top’ while F2I Christmas Trees impressed everyone with their dance moves from the classic songs ‘Deck the Halls’ and ‘I’m The Happiest Christmas Tree’. What a fantastic show and well done to everyone!

F3’s Winter Show was a Christmas version of Martin Waddell’s Owl Babies. In Talk for Writing, the children have been innovating the stories using their own ideas. They have learnt to use their imagination to change the setting and characters. Our new story is ‘Reindeer Babies’ where the reindeers have been waiting for the missing Santa Claus and have been singing different Christmas songs as they waited. When Santa finally came, everyone celebrated and cheered!

The children had a fantastic time preparing for this production. They made their own props, sang and danced and we are proud of how they have performed together.

Year One's Winter Show was a their own version of 'The Grinch'. It followed the Grinch, a grumpy creature, who attempts to put an end to Christmas by stealing Christmas themed items from the homes of the nearby town Whoville on Christmas Eve. The Grinch then realises that Christmas may not be all about money and presents.

The children had a fantastic time preparing for their Christmas production through learning their lines, practicing their songs and learning the different actions. We are extremely proud of all their efforts, it was lovely to see them feeling so confident in front of an audience. Thank you to everyone who came to watch the children's performance, they were very excited to showcase all their hard work.
