Principal's Weekly Update (11 November 2022) What a busy week of activities we have had, and the coming weeks look set to continue in the same way as well.

Dear Parents,

What a busy week of activities we have had, and the coming weeks look set to continue in the same way as well. My thanks to all of you who joined us for our parents’ workshops in Primary (KS1 Maths) and Secondary (Assessment and Reflection) this week and our whole school ‘Experience the Canteen’ food tasting. We hope you found these sessions informative as we partner together to deliver the very best provision we can to your children.

Congratulations to our Key Stage 3 boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, who won both competitive tournaments last weekend in Hanoi. This coming weekend, our first U15 FOBISIA International tournament takes place in Bangkok. Go Lionhearts!

Today was a time to pause and reflect together in our ‘Remembering Conflict’ Secondary assembly. An opportunity to consider some of the challenges of conflict historically and globally and strive together as BIS global citizens to bring about peace.

We wish our Secondary choir well tomorrow as they go to perform as part of the British Embassy’s Remembrance Day Service at Cua Bac Church.

Wishing you all a restful weekend.

Kind regards,

Richard Vaughan
