Moon Festival Assembly 2023 Celebrated with Spectacular Performances at BIS Hanoi

The event showcased a total of six captivating performances, highlighting the rich cultural traditions of Vietnam. 

The assembly began with a warm introduction and a heartfelt welcome to everyone in attendance. The younger students, F1, F2, and F3, kicked off the festivities by showcasing their creativity through the crafting of their own lanterns. 

Year 2 students took the spotlight with a graceful dance titled "Ông Trăng Miệng Cười" (The Smiling Moon), leaving the audience in awe. The popular Year 11 band followed, enchanting everyone with their rendition of "Tôi Thấy Hoa Vàng Trên Cỏ Xanh" (I See Yellow Flowers on Green Grass).

Year 3 and 6 students brought joy to the assembly, sharing their Moon Festival memories through the lively performance of "Thùng Thà Thùng Thình" (The Drum Beats on Mid-Autumn Night).  After that, Year 10 students performed a captivating dance performance titled "Mời Trầu.", which they recreated from the famous poet Ho Xuan Huong’s poem. Their performance aimed to promote progressive ideas about gender equality, showcasing the poet's emphasis on women's liberation.
