Principal's Weekly Update (27 October 2023) | British International School Hanoi - Principal Weekly Update
Welcome back to the second half of Term 1, 2023–24.

Dear Parents,

Another busy week at BIS, with high-quality teaching and learning experiences at the heart of all we have been doing. Thanks to all of you who have supported our various Parent Connects this week, whether it was at one of our university guidance sessions or our competitive sports briefing session. As always, your attendance, interest, and support for these events are greatly valued.

I am pleased to announce that the planned reopening of Gate C, our secondary gate, is now actioned. Thank you all for your support and understanding during this change process.

‘INSIGHTS’

I am delighted to introduce to you 'INSIGHTS', which is a new Nord Anglia Education publication that we will be sharing with you all at various points throughout the coming year. This is aimed at staff and parents, as well as older students, across our global community of schools. We will hear from world-leading experts in various fields sharing on numerous topics of interest and importance in the changing world of education. We trust that you will take up the opportunity to read and digest some of the great articles being published. We hope you will find topics that matter to you and your children as we share and journey together through an ever-more complex landscape of thinking and ideas. Enjoy this first edition of ‘INSIGHTS’ and give us feedback on any follow-up questions and thoughts you may have in these areas.

Coming Up

Next week is our secondary trips week for years 7–12. We are very excited for all our students as they venture off to various parts of Vietnam to enrich their learning journey. We look forward to hearing all about their adventures.

I wish you a restful weekend.

Kind regards,

Richard Vaughan
