Parents returned with a stunning presentation of “Tây Bắc Sắc Họa,” showcasing the cultural beauty of Vietnam’s Northwest region. This was followed by a meaningful calligraphy performance, also known as Thư pháp, by students from Years 10 and 12, highlighting the artistry and symbolism embedded in Vietnamese New Year traditions.
A lively and modern performance titled “Bắc Bling” by KS3 and KS5 students added a contemporary twist to the programme, blending creativity with cultural pride.
To conclude the celebration, the entire school gathered to enjoy a spectacular lion and dragon dance, one of the most beloved symbols of Tết. The colourful costumes, rhythmic drumming, and dynamic movements brought excitement and good fortune to the whole community.
The BIS Hanoi Tết Assembly was a wonderful celebration of culture, unity, and shared joy. It marked a festive and memorable start to the Lunar New Year. Chúc Mừng Năm Mới!
