BIS Hanoi scholars for AY 2026-27: Celebrating excellence across our community

BIS Hanoi scholars for AY 2026-27: Celebrating excellence across our community | British International School in Hanoi9 - BIS Hanoi scholar for AY 2026 2027 Celebrating Excellence Across Our Community

BIS Hanoi is proud to recognise and celebrate 48 exceptional students who have been awarded scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. Spanning both Primary and Secondary, these scholarships honour students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, commitment and potential across a wide range of disciplines.

This year, scholarships have been awarded across seven categories: Primary Academic, Middle School Academic, IGCSE, IBDP, Performing Arts, Design & Technology, Basketball, and FOBISIA. Together, these scholars reflect the breadth of talent that exists within our school community and the many different pathways through which students can excel. Beyond academic success, our scholars have distinguished themselves through creativity, leadership, resilience and dedication. Whether delivering exceptional performances on stage, pushing the boundaries of innovation through design, representing the school in sport, or achieving excellence in the classroom, they embody the values that define a BIS Hanoi student.

These scholarships recognise not only what students have already achieved, but also the promise they hold for the future. Dakyung (Year 12), who was awarded the IBDP Scholarship this year and previously earned IGCSE Scholarships throughout her secondary years, reflected on what the recognition means to her:

"Receiving this scholarship is incredibly meaningful because it motivates me to keep striving for my best. Having worked towards scholarships consistently during both my IGCSE and IBDP studies, it also serves as a reminder of the hard work and dedication I have invested over the years. For me, it represents not only an achievement, but also a reflection of the effort I put into my academic journey."

Our scholars' accomplishments serve as an inspiration to their peers and demonstrate what can be achieved through passion, hard work and a willingness to embrace new challenges.

As we begin another exciting academic year, we congratulate all 48 BIS Hanoi Scholars on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to seeing how they continue to grow, contribute to our community and pursue their ambitions in the years ahead.
