It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Secondary Campus for the Academic year 2020-21 and to share with you our first update of the year.
This week has been a week of welcome, of celebration, and of looking forward to how we will shape the year ahead together- but most importantly it has been a week of appreciation, appreciation of being back together and able to connect with friends and colleagues in our wonderful school. It was a joy to witness the enthusiasm, energy and laughter that filled the Campus on Wednesday on our students’ first day back at school.
This term, our Key Stage 3 Art and Design Technology students have been focusing on Lino Cuts and Pewter Casting. Let’s find out a little more about these projects with Ms Williams and Mr Diver.

There are some very important routines taking place at the moment to ensure that we are fully prepared to leap forward into the next academic year with energy and enthusiasm.
This week, we hear reflections on the ‘Wellbeing Monopoly’ activity students participated in last week and how this simple creative task contributed to a sense of teamwork within the class.
Our wonderful IB Diploma Visual Arts students finished their 2-year course by transforming our brand new Secondary Campus building into their very own art exhibition.
Through the Wellbeing programme in May and June, we want to offer the students of Year 7 to Year 11 the opportunity to further develop their own personal emotional literacy.
